Job Description

What You’ll Do: The Business Development Executive is responsible for the sales performance and profitability of the Traditional Trade / General Trade Channel within the assigned Territory within a region. They assist the Area Sales Manager (ASM) in delivering the overall regional sales objectives, supervises, fine-tunes, and monitors execution, and takes proactive initiatives to increase sales in accordance with the company’s policies and strategies. They lead and coach the distributor Sales Team in the territory, forming an efficient and effective team that cooperates with all internal and external partners.

Detailed Responsibilities (Non-Conclusive):

Business Objectives

  1. Achieve volume and value objectives of the assigned territory
  2. Execute agreed strategic alliances with key outlets
  3. Operate all Schemes & Promotional Activities
  4. Control Dominant shelf space in Key Accounts
  5. Manage health of distributor channel
  6. Assist in Sales forecasting Brand and SKU wise

Distributor Responsibilities

  1. Ensure all planned distributors in the zone are appointed in time
  2. Evaluate distributor performance
  3. Responsible for destroying damaged/expired goods
  4. Ensure optimal distribution cost
  5. Monitor inventory control
  6. Appointment of DSR, Salesforce for optimizing width & depth of Distribution
